We are in the process of designing a studio space to be a part of the eco-system that is Winston-Salem, NC. A studio that can move and shift to meet the needs of the community. A place to come home to, just as we have visualized for years through a book gifted to us at the very beginning of our yoga journey, Destiny of Souls. The vision is that of a place, resembling a beehive, where souls unite after a long journey to support each other, rest and prepare for the next phase of their lives.

The Hive will offer a unique array of classes steeped in history and philosophy yet relevant to what we experience in our day to day lives. We weave theory throughout our classes to bring you an experience that you can take with you off the mat. Our classes are inspired by the lineage of Krishnamacharya and his son Deskichar where we are asked to observe old behaviors and, as we grow, transcend to new more appropriate ones that fit who we are and who we are becoming.

This space is how we come together in shared practice and collective care in our community. It's yoga beyond the asana (poses), an experience that goes beyond the cookie-cutter practice and brings the student home to their own unique and beautiful life experience.
