Building Community Through Collective Action

Yoga Teacher Training // Yoga Studio Space // Outreach Programs // Sustainability

K10Yoga is a 501(c)3 non-profit serving the community since 2011 led by Kristen Williams, ERYT500. We create conditions for everyone to experience the benefits of physical, mental, and social well-being through the lenses of yoga, beekeeping, and sacred connection. Through the four pillars of trauma-informed, inclusive and supportive programming, we create opportunities that foster self-worth, and community care through skill-sharing, and experiential learning.

the hive

The Hive is the space where we come together in shared practice and collective action for one another and the community. Together we move and breathe as one.

Local and global community partners that we have built symbiotic relationships with for 10+ years to help spread the work of service beyond our individual reach

Our vision is of social, ecological, and wellness networks that are sustainable and inclusive. We work to hold central values of sustainable opportunities, accountability and happiness.

"Kristen Williams is redefining the Yoga Teacher Training course from the cookie cutter, pose-focused individual program to a radical experience that transforms community from the inside out. Her unique approach centers radical self-awareness and critical thinking that prepares the teacher not just for the mat, but for their life. It is a pathway to personal transformation that can lead to real social change."

"Kristen Williams is not only a passionate teacher, she embodies the practice of yoga off the mat in a way that leads her students to new understandings, growth, and transformation. Kristen is as wise as she is kind, and facilitates with expertise not only in her content, but in her way of being."

"I feel comfortable going out to bring yoga to my community knowing that I am truly prepared. I love that the teachings are rooted in social justice! I learned numerous ways to be trauma-informed and how to create an environment where I can respect and validate everyone's experiences. Anyone who wants to be a yoga teacher, this program is phenomenal and you will learn more than you can imagine"
